I forgot to pack breakfast and lunch. I forget to do this a couple times a week, and I’m usually either thawing a sandwich from the freezer or being hungry until leaving for lunch. Today, I remembered that Espresso To Go Go hosts the Little Lion Petit Café that serves ice cream, waffles, various baked goods, and somehow, breakfast burritos.

I learned that Little Lion Petit Café at its current location closes on June 30, so I made up my mind to get up from my desk, walk a block over, and take potentially the last opportunity to get a breakfast burrito in downtown Wichita.

I read that Denise Neil of Dining with Denise just raved about these breakfast burritos as the best burritos in Wichita. Somehow, I do not believe she’s had a breakfast burrito at one of our many, wonderful Mexican restaurants. While I enjoyed Little Lion Petit Café’s breakfast burrito, I would not call it the best breakfast burrito in town.  I think that Little Lion Petit Café uses high quality ingredients with good flavors, but it reminded me of the Spinach, Feta & Cage Free Egg White Breakfast Wrap from Starbucks. I’m not saying that either restaurant serves a bad breakfast burrito/wrap, but I think it would be a stretch to say best breakfast burrito in Wichita. Wichita offers so many options for breakfast burritos, and other offerings just suit my palate better.

In other news, Little Lion will be opening up their storefront in the much anticipated shipping container outdoor mall Revolustia. You can also find Little Lion with their portable food cart at various locations around Wichita.
