Known lovingly as CSB by regulars, Central Standard Brewing popped up as one of the first breweries leading Wichita’s brewery trend. Central Standard Brewing offers a hip interior with garage doors opened to an outdoor patio, with a large, unique assortment of in-house brewed beers and straightforward finger food.
Central Standard Brewing offers an eclectic assortment of beers with equally eclectic names. While cute and fun, not every beer name describes its taste. What does Lazer Fog Light Show taste like? It is apparently the “JUICIEST drinking experience this side of a Florida fruit grove.” I still have no idea, but people love it. Central Standard Brewing offers around 15 beers at a time, with a majority on tap (with to-go available) and some bottles. Ironically, I am not a beer fan, but Central Standard Brewing also offers sangria that I like. Their white sangria tastes like delicious juice, and I am not one to complain about that.
If you ever get hungry due to the high alcohol percentage, Central Standard Brewing offers familiar snacks. You can order a small bowl of Gardetto’s for $2, but I would suggest ordering some of their boards instead.
Central Standard Brewing attracts large crowds on the weekends, so I would suggest going on a weekday evening for a relaxing beverage in a cool setting.
